Saint-Boniface Walking Tours - Every day from May 24 to September 4, 2016

Experience Winnipeg’s French Quarter as your guide takes you through the rich history of the francophone community and Winnipeg’s French Quarter, one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods.  Visit landmarks and observe unique architecture, learn about the magnificent cathedral, the role of the French and Metis in the founding of the province, and witness how this vibrant community has persevered and become one of the city’s  cultural and historical treasures.

Tours start at Tourisme Riel Office, 219 Provencher Blvd

Tours run daily at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

$8 Adults   $6 seniors  (60+)   $4 children   (5-17)

Voyageur Rendezvous – June 18, 2016

Explore a fur trader re-enactment where you can learn more about the lives of fur traders in the 18th century. Then enjoy the ceremonies as the Voyageur Canoes leave the Mission site for their final destination in Lac La Biche.

Guided Tour: $5.00 per adult and $2.00 per child 6 years and older

Canada Day at the Mission – July 1, 2016

Come and celebrate Canada Day at the Lac La Biche Mission Historical Site. Enjoy a free pancake breakfast, live music, cultural dancers, children's activities, craft venders, site tours, steak supper and more!

Lakeside Heritage Festival – August 27, 2016

Celebrate Lac La Biche County's multicultural heritage and the arts at the Mission's Lakeside Heritage Festival. Enjoy live music, cultural dancers, heritage foods, art displays, cultural craft displays, traditional children's games and activities, heritage wheat harvest demonstration, demonstration of bread baking in outdoor stone oven, site tours, and more!
